What a fantastic day we had for Pyjama Day and everyone looked fantastic.
We raised a great amount of money for the kids in the Cancer Ward at the hospital.

Room 9 had a wonderful time in their pyjamas on Friday. We had a huge variety of night clothes including onesies, pyjamas and dressing gowns. Only two children had the same pyjamas on – army camouflage! We all thought the children in hospital deserved our support as we were ready to change into our street clothes before the day was over!
Room 6 collected $100 on the dress up pyjama day. The money collected will be sent to the children’s cancer ward at Wellington hospital. An amazing amount to collect and shows the caring students we have here at St Brigid’s School.
In room 6 we looks at some images and a you tube clip from the children’s ward and discussed what type of equipment children would possible use throughout the day and how difficult it must be for some children to be hospital.
We had two reporter come into room 6 and take photos as well as talk to students for the class about the reason for the pyjama day. Look out for Wednesday’s local paper.
We had a lovely day at school but realised the importance of the day – we are lucky to have out health and be able to come to school to play with our friends and even learn some of the time.
