Team 2 went on a trip to Pataka to view the Chocolate exhibition and to do some workshop sessions.
Some thoughts from the students about the trip…
When we got to Pataka we felt like we were in a chocolate world.
We learnt the steps to make chocolate. It’s quite hard as there are lots of steps to go through. We learnt that the best chocolate to buy is Fair Trade chocolate.
We played chocolate bingo. We had to answer questions about chocolate from around the gallery and when you got all of them right you got some chocolate.
We made some fake chocolates made out of plaster and painted them. They looked so real!!!
We got to draw with chocolate. They pictures smell delicious. The chocolate melted a bit in our hands. Then we got to eat it – YUMMY!!!!
It was such an exciting trip full of fun activities and we were sad that it ended. We felt like we wanted to eat more chocolate!

Jam and fudge oozing out of the corners. The chocolate cream jumps around your taste buds like a tiny earthquake rumbling. The mint leaves freshen it like a winter breeze. The jam makes it feel like heaven melting into your mouth. It’s like the world doesn't matter anymore.
