On Thursday, Team Toru went to the Johnsonville Community Centre to watch Bernard perform his show, MANA. He showed us different dances from different cultures, ranging from African to Polynesian. He shared what he and his sons had acheived through hard work and belief, in hope that we too, could be inspired and believe in ourselves and others.
While teaching he shared stories about his family. He has journeyed all over the world to find his extended family and learn about cultures and he has even climbed the highest mountain in Africa.
During his show he talked a lot about family and how you should always share your experiences and troubles with others. He also said,
He taught us many valuable lessos that we can keep with us forever. Bernard inspired us to chase and live our dreams because anything is possible.
