We had to draw our shape on some ply wood. But before we could start the mosaic part we had to smash our tiles/plates. But so we didn’t get cut we covered the tiles with a sheet or towel and smashed them with a hammer.
Then we tried to find pieces of the colour we wanted and placed them in a spot we thought was appropriate. Once we covered our board we got a popsicle stick and put a bit of cement on it, once we did that we took one tile off and covered it on the side that is facing down and put it back in the same spot, we did this until all the pieces were stuck down.
Once the cement had dried we got another Popsicle stick and put some grout on it. Then we put it through all the gaps in
between the tiles. When that had dried we got a damp rag and polished the tiles so there was no cement or grout on the tiles. When we had finished lots of us were proud of ourselves.

- We were so happy we had completed such a hard task!
